Anubis the god of the dead, was often depicted in the form of a jackal. Funeral rites were very significant to the ancient Egyptians as they had a strong belief in life after death. Anubis is the god who supervised the embalming and mummification process. The god Anubis portrayed as a jackal god of mummification in the Cairo Museum. All of our items categorized as bronze are actually unique pieces crafted using an original British technique where bronze powder is combined with cold cast resin. This mixture produces easy-to-handle figurines with the delicate and beautiful look of actual antique museum pieces.
