Japanese Samurai Mounted on Horse Bronze Statue
By the middle of the Japanese Civil War the spear had replaced the bow as the mounted Samurai’s principal weapon. From horseback it was normally used as an impaling weapon. All of our items categorized as bronze are actually unique pieces crafted using an original British technique where bronze powder is combined with cold cast resin. This mixture produces easy-to-handle figurines with the delicate and beautiful look of actual antique museum pieces.
Measures 9 1/2" in height.
